On August 6, 12:00–14:00, the special forum "AI-Empowered Innovative Drug R&D and Application Practices," hosted by Matwings Technology, took place at the AI For Pharma track of the 9th Biopharmaceutical Process Development (BPD) Conference at Zhangjiang Science Hall, Shanghai.
The forum combined keynote presentations and a closed-door panel discussion. Keynote sessions focused on cutting-edge directions including protein R&D enablement via the MatwingsVenus™ (Xiaowu™) protein research agent, progress in AI-driven innovative drug development, and real-world applications of these technologies in the gene therapy field.
Building on the keynote insights, the panel hosted in-depth, cross-stakeholder exchange around three core questions:
